Dental Assistant

Laurie was born in Glen Cove, NY on Long Island and moved to Hilton Head Island in January 1971 — more than five decades on the island that have shaped both her family and her career.

From Interior Design to Dentistry

Laurie originally set out to be an interior designer, but landed in dentistry in 1978 and has been part of the field ever since. She has been a steady presence at the chair through nearly every era of modern dental care.

Family and Life Outside the Office

Laurie is married with four children, ranging in age from 20 to 40, and three grandchildren ages 5, 8, and 9.

Outside of work, she has a long list of interests that includes racing sailboats and dragon boats, scuba diving, cooking, reading, gardening, and walking the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head.
